HSECC Mission and Vision Plan for the Future
HSECC Mission and Vision Plan for the Future
The Holy Spirit Ecumenical Catholic Church is the spiritual home that makes God known, loved and served through faithful missionary work, loving service and spiritual care. HSECC is driven by the desire to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a real and practical way. We are not simply called to proclaim the Word of God, but also to serve as the visible hands of Christ in the world! We believe that faith is to be lived in love, compassion, justice and service to one another especially to the poor, abandoned, rejected and those who long for hope.
HSECC is a community of faith, who are loving and accepting. We seek to live out the teachings of Jesus with respect for every person’s dignity, equality and sacred worth. We believe all human beings are made in the likeness of God and should be treated with dignity, kindness, and love. In true Catholic tradition, we strive to bring the Spirit of Christ into all aspects of people through worship, prayer, pastoral care and outreach. We embrace those who are hungry for God, healing, truth and belonging.
Our reach is both local and global, in our mission. Here in the United States, we long to form communities of renewal where people can worship God; be transformed in faith and receive spiritual healing. In India and several mission centers across the world, we work to serve the poorest of poor, Our mission is grounded in compassion for those who suffer from poverty, loneliness, sickness, neglect and lack of opportunity. We do not want to be a Church that just speaks from the pulpit; we embrace being a Church that walks with people, listens to their suffering and answers with love and action.
It is one of the keys to our mission that we would create churches for renewal worship services with a cultures for people being touched by God in a safe atmosphere filled with prayer. These intend to be faith, healing, fellowship and transformation communities. We hope to build ministries that care for abandoned and neglected elderly people, widows, and vulnerable children. HSECC aims to create orphanage like houses and care facilities where the elderly and children can feel safe, respected, looked after and loved. In these places, they will not be treated as people who have been forgotten, but as beloved members of God’s family.
Practical service is another big part of our mission. Because water is life, we want to offer purified water systems in regions where people cannot readily access it as a basic human necessity. Our goal is to provide scholarships for poor students and orphans through education opens new doors. Education is more than just knowing; it is the dignity, opportunity and ability to transform a life. HSECC aims to help spiritually and humanitarianly uplift the individual, family and community through these initiatives.
Our purpose, in its simplest form, is to bring hope and spiritual healing. Here’s a timely word to the broken. Some seek God, others peace and acceptance and purpose. HSECC desires to be a home which such pilgrim people of God can come and find prayer, encouragement, direction and healing. We seek to restore lives and renew faith in God’s love through the sacraments, pastoral ministry, outreach and loving relationships.
HSECC envisions establishing an atmosphere of love and life, where abandoned children can find safety, neglected old men and women experience warmth together with widow men and women. We want them to feel not just physical caregiving, but emotional and spiritual support and community. We dream of creating communities where the lost are found, the broken are healed and the lonely are held in compassion and dignity.
We envision also seeking common ground with Catholic and Christian communities so that in collaboration we might extend an loving presence and spiritual care which would transform lives. HSECC aims to be your church where everyone feels welcome and unity, peace, and mutual respect can reign. Indeed, the Ten Commandments tell us: You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor (Exodus 20:16), and John tells us that we are commanded to love one another. It is through this spirit of openness and faith that we hope to become an instrument for reconciliation, healing, and renewal.
Spiritual formation is another key aspect of our vision. We believe that everyone should be able to answer God’s call and minister of Christ based on their gifts and vocation. All are equal in the eyes of God. Through formation, prayer, study and service HSECC desires to open new heavenly spiritual doors where people can grow in wisdom, holiness and commitment to serve God’s mission. We desire to cultivate godly servants, merciful leaders and prayer fueled followers of Christ who will be a blessing to the Church and world through their humility and love.
In the future, HSECC hopes to continue to grow faithfully in mission and outreach and ministry. We will empower our worshiping communities, we will grow our mission stations, we will bring good news to the poor in education and basic necessities and with ministries of healing and caring. We also hope to lay strong foundations for the future generations by creating places of worship, care centers, outreach programs and formation opportunities that will continue doing Christ's work for years to come.
Through all this, HSECC trusts God. We know the future is not built only by human work but with prayer, faith and grace of the Holy Spirit. So, with humility and clear vision, we take the next step in faith that God can do amazing things starting from such small beginnings. The HSECC Mission Statement as a community of faith, love, and service, HSECC is dedicated to being a light of hope in the world and a living testimony to the healing love of Jesus Christ.
