At Holy Spirit Ecumenical Catholic Church (HSECC), we believe that love is holy, and each couple’s journey is different. Many faithful people bear silent burdens in relation to marriage feeling uncertain, excluded or simply distant from the Church because of factors beyond their control.

Our hearts are with you.

Our priests are and remain dedicated to walking with you not judging, but listening … not restricting but guiding … not turning away from, but embracing you with compassion, and understanding: We want to ensure that your love is honored in a way that matters, honors the sacredness of your love and is also uniquely yours.

A previous marriage that was not annulled

The request for a ceremony in non-traditional parish environment

Religious crossovers looking for a center point of honor

Holy Spirit ECC provides a way forward, one based on the fullness of Catholic tradition but inclusive and pastoral and welcoming.

As an ecumenical Catholic community, we are free from Roman Catholic jurisdiction. This enables us to serve couples more flexibly, compassionately and intelligibly while honouring the sacredness of the sacrament of marriage.

We warmly welcome interfaith couples, and our clergy are happy to work with ministers of other traditions to design a ceremony that honors your beliefs respectfully and cohesively.
